4.2.9. The Commission may suspend or revoke a certificate if the shot-firer
(a)  has been the subject, in his or her work, of a remedial order under section 182 of the Act respecting occupational health and safety (chapter S-2.1) or of an order under section 186 of that Act, by reason of his or her refusal to comply with the Act or this Regulation;
(b)  is found guilty of an offence under section 236 of the Act respecting occupational health and safety in relation to this Division;
(c)  no longer holds a general permit issued under the Act respecting explosives (chapter E-22).
The Commission must notify the shot-firer in writing of the suspension or revocation of the certificate.

4.2.9. Cancellation of certificate: The Commission may suspend or cancel a shot-firer’s certificate if the holder is found guilty of criminal negligence in his functions, if he refuses to comply with this Division or if he fails the examination provided for in section 4.2.5. The Commission shall inform the shot-firer in writing of the cancellation or suspension of his certificate.
